Boys Basketball: Cocalico vs. Ephrata (1-8-25)

Round 1 of the “Backyard Brawl” went to Ephrata (4-1 Sec. 2) who knocked off rival Cocalico (3-3 Sec. 2) 58-43! Mounts used a 17-4 advantage in the 4th quarter to pull away! Ephrata’s Marqus Hardin led all scorers with 22 points! Landry Kopp & Grayson Shellhammer each added 11! Cocalico’s Timmy Hambright had 19 points, including 5 three-pointers!

Barons are BACK in the District 3 Title Game for the first time since 2018, when they won the 5A Championship ?? #2 Manheim Central beat L-L League Rival #3 Lampeter-Strasburg 42-6!

▪️Brycen Armold (3) & Jaden Weit (2) combined for 5 rushing touchdowns! Barons advanced to a record 23rd District 3 Final ? They will face #1 Bishop McDevitt in the 4A Final... aiming to bring home their record 19th District Crown!

We will have that 4A District 3 Championship Game LIVE on Blue Ridge 11 this coming Friday!

Girls Lacrosse: Cedar Crest vs. Ephrata (4-18-23)

Ephrata won a highly competitive game against Cedar Crest... 14-13! Senior Grace Willetts & Freshman Ryleigh Warner each had 5 goals for the Lady Mounts!

-- Major Milestone -- Grace Willetts scored her 100th Career Goal as an Ephrata Lady Mount!

Softball: Warwick vs. Manheim Central (3/26/25)

Warwick and Manheim Central braved the elements for a non-league showdown in L-L Softball! Warwick came away with the victory 11-2 over Central! Warriors jumped out to an early 4-0 lead & tacked on more to lead it 8-0 after 3 innings! Warwick's Mackenzie Ellis, Sophia Steffy & Sophie Smutz each had a pair of hits & runs to get the Offense going! Warriors Pitching Ace Kate Shaak (7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 13 K) went the distance for her 37th Career Win! Central’s Kayleigh Detz had a triple & a single (her courtesy runner scored both runs)... Abbi Logan had a pair of RBI singles!
