Boys Volleyball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (3-30-23)

Season-Saving COMEBACK for Warwick in the 5A District 3 Playoffs! #9 Warwick trailed #8 Red Land 36-18 in the 3rd quarter… BUT went on a game-closing 42-20 run, winning it 60-56 in OT! Warwick advanced to the 5A Quarterfinals on Thursday, February 22 against #1 Hershey & qualified for STATES!

▪️Warwick scorers: Carter Horst led the Warriors with 17pts… Tyree Hughes (12) & Trevor Evans (10) also in double figures!

▪️Red Land scorers: Anderson French had a Game-High 27pts (17 in the 1st half)... Elijah Espinosa had 14pts, Colton Rose 12!

Cocalico picked up a big win in Section 3 play, beating Lancaster Catholic 58-48 in Overtime! Eagles held the Crusaders scoreless in the OT session! In the regular season Finale for both Manheim Central and Warwick Girls Soccer teams... Lady Barons got an impressive win 4-2 over the Warriors! Central Goals by Hannah Adair (2) & Abbie Reed (2)! Warwick was led by Aubrey Williamson & Amber Garman in scoring. Check out these highlights...

Manheim Township REPEATED as L-L League Field Hockey Champions 🏆 beating Section 1 rival Warwick 1-0! Julia Weaver scored the only goal of the game for the Blue Streaks in the 2nd quarter! (This is now back to back years Township has beaten Warwick in the League Final)
