Boys Volleyball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (3-30-23)

Highly entertaining match between Conestoga Valley & Warwick tonight! Warriors fought back several times after being down 1-0 & 2-1 to CV! In the end, Warwick pulls it out 3-2 to remain unbeaten! Check out these highlights...

Cocalico won their 4th game in a row after knocking off Garden Spot 4-0! Chloe Martin had a pair of goals (2’ & 12’) for the Lady Eagles, just missing out on a hat trick! Juliana Gervase & Emma Strunk each added goals! Cocalico is now 1-0-1 in Section 2 (their new home this year… they are defending Section 3 champs)

🔹Lady Eagles are unbeaten in their last 5 games, having tied Warwick 1-1 back on August 30!

In a low-scoring, defensive battle between Section 3 contenders Cocalico and Warwick, the game came down to the last play… a Hail Mary that felt incomplete for the Warriors! Eagles win a tight one 10-7!

 ♦ Warwick scored in the 1st quarter on a 14 yard TD connection between QB Thomas Myers & WR Judah Willard!

🔹 Cocalico answered back in the 2nd quarter on a long, 89 yard TD dash by Brayden Eppinette! Neither team scored again until Talen Popolis kicked the game-winning field late in the 4th quarter!

HISTORIC day for the Lancaster Stormers as they cruised past Long Island 17-5! Newcomer Niko Hulsizer slugged 3 home runs in the game, including a Grand Slam in the 7th inning to give him a whopping 9 RBI... which is a Lancaster record!
