5A District 3 Boys Basketball Playoffs (Consolation Game): Muhlenberg vs. Warwick (2-27-23)

#5 Warwick lost to #9 Muhlenberg 67-45 in the consolation round of the 5A District 3 Boys bracket! Muhls had 3 players in double figures, while Warwick had Caleb Johnsen with 15pts!

Warriors played #2 Lampeter-Strasburg Wednesday, March 1st for 7th place in 5A District 3 & seeding into States!

Wrestling: Warwick vs. Manheim Central (12/18/24)

In one of the most EXCITING & entertaining wrestling matches of the year… Warwick knocked off Manheim Central 39-27 for their first win of the season! The Warriors took an early 14-0 lead over the Barons with wins at 121, 127, & 133! But Central dug themselves out of a big hole with pins from AJ Hondru (172), Noah Templin (189), & Brodie Daugherty (FFT-215) to lead it 27-23! However, Julian Rodriguez’s pin at 285 catapulted Warwick back into the lead and the Warriors finished strong for the victory!

District 3 Boys Basketball Playoffs — 5A 1st Rd: #16 Spring Grove vs. #1 Manheim Central (2/18/25)

MAJOR UPSET! #16 Spring Grove knocked off #1 Manheim Central 45-38 in the First Round of the 5A District 3 Playoffs! Barons had a 13-6 lead after the 1st quarter, but the Rockets outscored Central 39-25 the rest of the way! Ky’sier Ludvig led the Rockets with 14 points! Ryan Kenneff had a Game-High 15 points in the Barons loss!

▪️#1 Manheim Central dropped down into the 9th place consolation bracket and played again on Friday, February 21 against #9 Middletown (winning 43-39)!

L-L Football: Warwick vs. Cocalico (10-22-21)

Cocalico celebrates Senior Night in a big way by knocking off Warwick 27-21, moving to 4-0 in the Section 2 standings! The Eagles now earn at least a share of the Section 2 Title & face Manheim Central next week for a chance to win it outright! As for the game... it was another huge night on the gridiron for Anthony Bourassa, who smashed his previous career high, churning out 330+ yards on the ground & 2 TD's!
