HS Football – Week 8: Conestoga Valley vs. Manheim Central (10-14-22)

Manheim Central won its 5th straight game, taking care of business against Conestoga Valley 48-25 in a Section 2 showdown! Lady Baron Senior Maddie Knier led all scorers with 23 points & now stands at 1,540 Career Points... 2nd All-Time only to Hilary Waltman (1,937 points)!

Manheim Central is back in action December 28 & 29 for the York Suburban Holiday Tournament!

For the 2nd year in a row, Manheim Central wins the L-L League Boys 🏐 Title, beating Warwick again in a rematch of last year’s Final… 3-1!

▪️Warriors took Game 1… 25-19! But Central stormed back with 3 unanswered games (25-21, 25-22, 25-16)! Reagan Miller & Landon Mattiace had 16 & 15 kills respectively for the Barons! Kyle Charles led Warwick with 23 kills!

-- District 3 Playoffs begin May 21! Both Warwick (3A) and Manheim Central (2A) are top 3 in both brackets!

Cocalico picked up a big win in Section 3 play, beating Lancaster Catholic 58-48 in Overtime! Eagles held the Crusaders scoreless in the OT session! #9 Warwick knocked off #5 Manheim Central 82-61 in the 5A District 3 Playoffs! Warriors drained 15 - 3’s in the game & took the season series 2-1 over the Barons! Interesting note... NO Home team has won a game in this season series!
