Girls Volleyball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (9-8-22)

Manheim Central’s Offense went into “Attack Mode” early scoring 4 Goals in the 1st half against Hershey! Final score = 4-0… Lady Barons are 3-0 to start the season!

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Warwick beat OLD Section 1 rival Conestoga Valley 1-0 on a Connor Kirchner goal 5 minutes before halftime! It was his 4th goal of the year! Warwick improved to 3-0 on the season, ALL by way of shutout thanks to another good effort from Goalie Issac Yerger! Warriors have out scored opponents 13-0 in 3 games!

The Stormers are sizzling hot, winners of 10 in a row! Lancaster won both games of a doubleheader today against Hagerstown, sweeping the series with the Flying Boxcars! Game 1 came down to the end as Lancaster won it 7-4!
