Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Warwick won its 8th match in a row after knocking off Ephrata 3-0 in a Section 1 clash! Warriors Thomas Mejia led the way with 10 kills! Warwick swept the season series 2-0 and remains atop the Section 1 standings with BIG matches left against Penn Manor (May 6) & Hempfield (May 8)!
Great matchup between Ephrata and Cocalico girls ⚽️ in the “Backyard Brawl”… the ONLY meeting this season! But despite both teams’ Best effort… neither Offense scored against the other’s Defense! Great goal keeping from Ephrata’s Amaya Jones & Cocalico’s Molly Barrett! This one went 100 heart-pounding minutes of scoreless action & ended in a 0-0 draw!

In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup!
