L-L Baseball: Garden Spot vs. Manheim Central (4-26-21)

Conestoga Valley powered their way to a 31-26 victory over Manheim Central, thanks to a STRONG 4th quarter! CV outscored the Lady Barons 18-10… Tia Logan had 9 of her team high 11 points in the 4th quarter! Maddie Gehman scored a game high 13 points for Manheim Central in the loss!

?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Solanco capitalized on an 8-run 5th inning to pull out a big win over Ephrata... 11-6! Ellie Meier slugged a pair of home runs & had 11 K's from the circle, but the Mounts dropped a tough one at home in a key Section 2 Showdown!

The L-L League showcased its Best wrestlers over the weekend at their annual League Tournament, with some heavy-hitters in the brackets & crowned 13 new champions on the boys side! The most notable was Manheim Township Senior Kaedyn Williams at 114lbs, who joined the exclusive 4-time champion club 🥇🥇🥇🥇 Congrats Kaedyn!
