L-L Boys Lacrosse: Cedar Crest vs. Warwick (3-30-21)

Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Both teams have now won on their home courts... if they win out, Warwick & Hempfield will share the title! Will we see a Round #3? Season-Saving COMEBACK for Warwick in the 5A District 3 Playoffs! #9 Warwick trailed #8 Red Land 36-18 in the 3rd quarter… BUT went on a game-closing 42-20 run, winning it 60-56 in OT! Warwick advanced to the 5A Quarterfinals on Thursday, February 22 against #1 Hershey & qualified for STATES!

▪️Warwick scorers: Carter Horst led the Warriors with 17pts… Tyree Hughes (12) & Trevor Evans (10) also in double figures!

▪️Red Land scorers: Anderson French had a Game-High 27pts (17 in the 1st half)... Elijah Espinosa had 14pts, Colton Rose 12!

Warwick avenged their ONLY Loss of the season, beating Manheim Township 3-1 in a Section 1 showdown! Warriors LHP Kate Shaak was dealing in the circle… 12 K’s, 3 H, 1 R! Madisen Minney, Sam Shaak & Marlee Martin all drove in runs! Warwick has won 5 Section 1 games in a row! They are 7-1 overall, 5-1 in Section 1!
