In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! Ephrata WON its 11th straight with a 58-50 victory over Conestoga Valley! Four Lady Mounts scored in double figures… Marie McCracken (15pts); Leah Caldwell (14pts); Alyssa Caldwell (13pts) & Emily Bender (11pts)! Azailya Washington scored a Season-High 23 points for the Buckskins, but it wasn’t enough as Ephrata hit 11 of 13 free throws in the 4th quarter!
🔸Ephrata (8-0) padded their lead in Section 2 over Conestoga Valley (6-2) winning both matchups this year!

Gabe Martin & Andrew Pemberton accounted for all 4 of the Spartans TD’s! 2 rushing for Martin, 1 TD toss to Pemberton, who also ran the 2nd half kickoff back for a 92yd TD! Central scored both a TD & a safety on blocked punts!
