In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! Warwick stays unbeaten in Section 2 after a 3-1 Win over Cocalico! It's the 2nd time the Warriors have beaten the Lady Eagles this season! Warwick is fighting for a league playoff berth in Section 2!
Warwick Softball took care of business on Senior Night, beating JP McCaskey 16-1 in 4 innings! The Warriors' bats exploded for 11 runs in the 4th inning! Senior Jenna Ober got the win in the circle & is now 9-1! Check out these highlights as Warwick moves to 11-3 this season!
And the Gold Medal goes to... the Exeter Eagles, who knocked off #1 Manheim Central 67-53 in the 5A District 3 Championship Game! Barons never really had an answer for 6'7" Anthony Caccese, who had a Game-High 22 points for Exeter! Trey Grube led Central with 19 points & had a pair of 3pters... which moved his L-L Record up to 305 Career 3pters made!
Both Exeter & Manheim Central move onto the PIAA 5A State Tournament on Friday, March 10!
