In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! Ephrata & Warwick traded runs & the lead several times in their showdown, but it was Warwick with 5 runs in the final 2 innings to win 10-6! Warriors 7-8-9 hitters (Loraw, Meck & Valudes) reached base 11 times, scoring 7 runs!

We saw a pitcher's duel on the channel between Conestoga Valley's Rhiannon Henry & Ephrata's Ellie Meier, who both combined for 14 strikeouts! Lady Mounts broke the scoreless game open in the 5th with an Ellie Meier sacrifice fly! It was all Ephrata needed to beat CV 1-0!
