6A District 3 Girl’s Basketball: Governor Mifflin vs. Ephrata (3-4-21)

Cocalico celebrates Senior Night in a big way by knocking off Warwick 27-21, moving to 4-0 in the Section 2 standings! The Eagles now earn at least a share of the Section 2 Title & face Manheim Central next week for a chance to win it outright! As for the game... it was another huge night on the gridiron for Anthony Bourassa, who smashed his previous career high, churning out 330+ yards on the ground & 2 TD's! Garden Spot’s Trey Dwyer put his goal scoring prowess on display against Manheim Central! Early in the 1st, Dwyer put the Spartans ahead 1-0 with a header off a corner kick & scored again just minutes into the 2nd half! He’s got 13 goals for the season! Central’s Aiden Beck slammed home a goal with 5 minutes left in the game, but the Barons ran out of time... falling 2-1 to Garden Spot!

Manheim Central used 6 touchdowns from RB Brycen Armold to grab a convincing WIN over York Suburban…63-14! Barons churned out 406 yards rushing ?? #2 Manheim Central now moves onto the 4A Semifinals against #3 Lampeter-Strasburg, which will be right back in Manheim!
