An absolute CLASSIC District 3 Playoff softball game! #9 Ephrata & #8 Manheim Central traded runs & Momentum each inning, putting on a THRILLING show for the fans in attendance!

— Lady Mounts led early 3-2… Lady Barons fought back to make it 4-4!

— Ephrata re-took the lead 8-4 in the 6th… Central stormed back to tie it 8-8!

— Ephrata answered right back in the 7th with 8 runs… 16-8!

— Bottom 7th, Central clawed back to make it 16-14, but the rally ended short there!

— Ephrata advanced to the 5A Quarterfinals on Thursday, May 25 against #1 Solanco

For the 1st time since 1991, Ephrata Girls Basketball will play for an L-L League Title ? Lady Mounts punched their ticket with a 37-35 OT Win over Section 1 Champ Penn Manor! INCREDIBLE finish! Jasmine Griffin had a Game-High 17pts; scored her 1,000th point! Brynn Adams had 10, including a buzzer-beating 3pter to force Overtime! Baseball: Manheim Central vs. Ephrata (5-2-25)

Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
