2024 L-L League Football Media Day — Warwick Warriors (8-2-24)

Warwick Head Coach Bob Locker & several of his players sat down with us at this year’s football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Warriors are looking to bounce back from a tough 2023 & will have to do so while breaking in a new quarterback! Hear from Warwick as they have a fresh mindset heading into the 2024 Season!

L-L Boy’s Soccer: LMH vs. Cocalico (10-7-21)

Lancaster Mennonite & Cocalico clashed in a typical, aggressive boys soccer battle between these Section 3 foes! Eagles defense held as long as they could but the Blazers squeaked by with a 1-0 victory… winning the Section 3 Title outright! Here are the highlights!

Boys Basketball: Donegal vs. Manheim Central (1-10-25)

Manheim Central stayed UNBEATEN (5-0) in Section 3 play after a 67-48 Win over Donegal! Barons went on a 40-20 run in the 2nd half to pull away from the Indians! Ryan Kenneff & Landon Zeiset each had monster games with 17 points apiece (combined 7-8 from the free throw line)! Donegal’s Joey Williams started off hot with 14 points at the half (4-3’s) but finished with 18 total in the game!

 

Manheim Central Scorers:

▪️Chase Book: 15 points (2-3’s)

Softball: Conestoga Valley vs. Ephrata (4-24-23)

We saw a pitcher's duel on the channel between Conestoga Valley's Rhiannon Henry & Ephrata's Ellie Meier, who both combined for 14 strikeouts! Lady Mounts broke the scoreless game open in the 5th with an Ellie Meier sacrifice fly! It was all Ephrata needed to beat CV 1-0!

-- The 3 Game Series between CV & Ephrata is tied 1-1! The final meeting this season will be Monday, May 1 at Conestoga Valley (4:15pm)

Field Hockey: Ephrata vs Warwick (9-11-24)

Warwick continued their impressive streak this season, advancing to an undefeated 8-0 record with a 6-0 victory over Ephrata! In a standout performance, Bree Zoccolo, who recently became Warwick's all-time leading scorer, made a significant impact by netting 2 goals! Additionally, the team's offensive effort was well-rounded, with several other players. Taylor Hess, Karys Craver, Mara Moyer, and Miriam Jackson each added to the scorebook. The Lady Warriors continue to build momentum in Section 1 & have only given up 3 goals all season!
