Warwick Football Trio earn Big 33 Honors

On our annual "Sportstalk L-L Football Coaches Show Extravaganza", we chatted with Warwick Football Head Coach Bob Locker about his Warrior squad! Check out the full interview with Coach Locker, who answered questions about the Berks/L-L football merger, their experienced QB Jack Reed & his NEW Offensive Weapons! WHAT A WILD WALKOFF WIN!

Trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the 9th... Lancaster "stormed-back" with 4 runs to walk it off against Staten Island... 7-6! The comeback seemed unlikely after the Stormers trailed 5-0 early & then 6-3 in the 9th... but Lancaster's next 6 batters reached based, including Joseph Carpenter's RBI fielder's choice that scored Shawon Dunston Jr. with the GAME-WINNING RUN!

The "Backyard Brawl" lived up to the rivalry & tension, as Ephrata went up 1-0 after Game 1... but Cocalico came storming back to win the next 3 games! Eagles take round 1 between the Section 2 foes... 3-1! Yohanis Hildebrand had 22 kills for Cocalico; Owen Weaver had 24 for Ephrata!

Once again the YEARLY “Grudge Match” between Cocalico & Manheim Central ? did NOT disappoint! Barons & Eagles traded points, turnovers & the lead throughout… but it was Manheim Central getting the Big Win…35-19! Barons move to 3-0 this season! Check out the highlights here...
