Warwick Warriors took over the top spot in Section 2 after beating RIVAL Ephrata 63-46! Strong performance from Caleb Johnsen, who erupted with a Game-High 19 points for the Warriors! Marcus Hardin had 13 points for the Mounts!
-- Warwick improved to 5-0 in Section 2 play & has a showdown coming up with Manheim Central on Wednesday, January 17!
Manheim Central Head Coach Dave Hahn & several of his players sat down with us at this year's football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Barons are looking to replace a bunch of skill positions, including quarterback... BUT feel they've put in the work this offseason to be ready to go heading into the 2024 Season! Trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the 9th... Lancaster "stormed-back" with 4 runs to walk it off against Staten Island... 7-6! The comeback seemed unlikely after the Stormers trailed 5-0 early & then 6-3 in the 9th... but Lancaster's next 6 batters reached based, including Joseph Carpenter's RBI fielder's choice that scored Shawon Dunston Jr. with the GAME-WINNING RUN!
