Cocalico held on for another close win in Section 2 beating Garden Spot 63-60! Both teams made a mad dash for the finish line, combining for 44 points in the 4th quarter! By the way, Eagles are 2-0 in Section 2!

Elco earned the 3-0 shutout against Manheim Central in early, non-league action! Jevan Marquette (13’), Cru Frederick (23’) & Ben Macchione (55’) scored for the Raiders! Central Goalie Zach Spangler made a nice PK save in the opening minutes of the game, the Elco Offense was too much! Barons drop Game 1 of the season, while Elco moves to 2-0 with a 4-0 margin of victory!
What a clash between fantastic 5A Girls Basketball squads! Cocalico & Gettysburg left it all out on the court! We saw 3’s...stellar defense & even a career milestone! In the end, Gettysburg advanced 44-39! Cocalico Senior Izzy Mack led the team 12 points (4-3’s)! Senior Hannah Custer had 8! A great season for Cocalico ends at 16-4, with a Section 3 Title! Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
