What a clash between fantastic 5A Girls Basketball squads! Cocalico & Gettysburg left it all out on the court! We saw 3’s...stellar defense & even a career milestone! In the end, Gettysburg advanced 44-39! Cocalico Senior Izzy Mack led the team 12 points (4-3’s)! Senior Hannah Custer had 8! A great season for Cocalico ends at 16-4, with a Section 3 Title! Ephrata WON its 11th straight with a 58-50 victory over Conestoga Valley! Four Lady Mounts scored in double figures… Marie McCracken (15pts); Leah Caldwell (14pts); Alyssa Caldwell (13pts) & Emily Bender (11pts)! Azailya Washington scored a Season-High 23 points for the Buckskins, but it wasn’t enough as Ephrata hit 11 of 13 free throws in the 4th quarter!

🔸Ephrata (8-0) padded their lead in Section 2 over Conestoga Valley (6-2) winning both matchups this year!

In a low-scoring, defensive battle between Section 3 contenders Cocalico and Warwick, the game came down to the last play… a Hail Mary that felt incomplete for the Warriors! Eagles win a tight one 10-7!

 ♦ Warwick scored in the 1st quarter on a 14 yard TD connection between QB Thomas Myers & WR Judah Willard!

🔹 Cocalico answered back in the 2nd quarter on a long, 89 yard TD dash by Brayden Eppinette! Neither team scored again until Talen Popolis kicked the game-winning field late in the 4th quarter!
