Ephrata made it 2 Wins in a row against Manheim Central with a 17-6 Win in Week 2! Barons RB Logan Geib put Central in front 6-0 with a 7yd rushing TD! But the Mounts ran off 17 unanswered points to get the victory! QB Carson Martin had 2 passing TD's (Frain & Grant) along with 2 tackles for loss & a sack on defense!
Fun fact: this was Ephrata's 400th Win in program history, dating back to their start in 1910! The Mounts are 2-0 to kickoff the 2025 Season & will be on Blue Ridge 11 in Week 3 vs. Garden Spot!
L-L Wrestling: Cocalico vs. Warwick (1-19-22)
?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Boys Soccer: Conestoga Valley vs. Warwick (8-29-24)
Warwick beat OLD Section 1 rival Conestoga Valley 1-0 on a Connor Kirchner goal 5 minutes before halftime! It was his 4th goal of the year! Warwick improved to 3-0 on the season, ALL by way of shutout thanks to another good effort from Goalie Issac Yerger! Warriors have out scored opponents 13-0 in 3 games!
