In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! On Senior Night, Ephrata ran into the hot bats of Conestoga Valley, who scored 13 runs on 10 hits to beat the Lady Mounts 13-3 in 5 innings! Big night at the plate for CV's Ava Smith, Bianca Henry & Laila Smith... who all combined to go 9-10 at the plate with 10 RBI! Buckskins Julia Rhoads picked up her 8th win of the season in the circle!
