Another stellar L-L League Wrestling Championship in the books! Here’s a look at the sights and sounds from the days’ action from Manheim Township HS!
🔹Conestoga Valley won the boys team title after they sent 6 wrestlers to the Finals, winning 5 🥇 Ephrata finished 4th, Manheim Central 6th, Cocalico 9th, Warwick 11th & Garden Spot 17th! On the girls side, JP McCaskey won the team title over Hempfield, with Warwick finishing 7th as our only local school with a girls team!
▪️Congrats to Northern Lebanon’s Aaron Seidel who joined the 4X League Champion Club winning at 133lbs!
Baseball: Lancaster Mennonite vs. Manheim Central (4-22-22)
Manheim Central baseball ended their week with a 9-0 WIN over Lancaster Mennonite! Ace Pitcher Jared Murray was superb on the mound... 5 IP, 12 K, 0 BB, 1 H, 0 Runs
Barons improved to 10-1; will begin Round 2 thru Section 3 play (April 25 at Garden Spot; April 27 at Cocalico)
L-L Boys Volleyball: Warwick vs. Hempfield (5-4-21)
Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Both teams have now won on their home courts... if they win out, Warwick & Hempfield will share the title! Will we see a Round #3? Check back in the postseason... but for now, watch these highlights!
Boys Basketball: Lancaster Catholic vs. Cocalico (12-19-22)
Cocalico picked up a big win in Section 3 play, beating Lancaster Catholic 58-48 in Overtime! Eagles held the Crusaders scoreless in the OT session!
