L-L League Softball Playoffs: Quarterfinals – Manheim Central vs. Warwick (5-11-24)

After a scoreless 1st half between Warwick & Conestoga Valley... the Warriors broke thru with a pair of 2nd half Goals from Connor Kirchner & Caden Lausch! Warwick won 2-0 over Conestoga Valley…it was both teams last Section 1 game... neither is headed to the League Playoffs! So they now wait for the 4A District 3 Playoffs, where both teams will have road games on Tuesday, October 25!

Happy Throwback Thursday to the Warwick Boys Basketball program!! On this day, 1 year ago, Warwick played Lancaster Catholic in the L-L League Semifinals! The Crusaders were up big in the first quarter, until a little known player named Chase Krall entered the game! Lancaster Stormers walk it off against Southern Maryland!

Stormers Centerfielder Joe Stewart knocked home the ONLY run of the game in the bottom of the 7th as Lancaster took both games of the doubleheader from Southern Maryland! Noah Bremer pitched 5 innings for the Lancaster, giving up 2 hits, NO runs with 4 K's! Phil Diehl got the Win for the Stormers, who took the series from the Blue Crabs with one more to go on Thursday, August 8!
