L-L League Softball Playoffs: Quarterfinals – Manheim Central vs. Warwick (5-11-24)

Cocalico won its 3rd straight game early in the season with a 48-33 victory over Solanco! Corinne Fair led Cocalico with 13 points, 3-3pointers! Kira Lehman added 12 points! It’s the Lady Eagles highest scoring output of the season so far as they open up Section 2 play with a strong W!

Hempfield & Warwick's "Championship Clash" in the L-L Boys Volleyball Final was another classic match in this rivalry series! The Warriors and Black Knights left it all out on the court, battling for each and every point, but it was Hempfield who earned their 24th League Title with a 3-1 win over Warwick! And the Gold Medal goes to... the Exeter Eagles, who knocked off #1 Manheim Central 67-53 in the 5A District 3 Championship Game! Barons never really had an answer for 6'7" Anthony Caccese, who had a Game-High 22 points for Exeter! Trey Grube led Central with 19 points & had a pair of 3pters... which moved his L-L Record up to 305 Career 3pters made!

Both Exeter & Manheim Central move onto the PIAA 5A State Tournament on Friday, March 10!

GOLDEN GOAL! Conestoga Valley netted the Game Winner in the 89th minute of Overtime, beating previously undefeated Warwick 1-0! Nate Showvaker played the hero putting back a rebound shot off a corner kick! Check out the game recap here…
