Gabe Martin & Andrew Pemberton accounted for all 4 of the Spartans TD’s! 2 rushing for Martin, 1 TD toss to Pemberton, who also ran the 2nd half kickoff back for a 92yd TD! Manheim Central grabbed their 1st Win of the season 40-24 over Cocalico in another Great Section 2 Showdown! Upper weights started off strong for the Barons with Falls from Noah Templin at 189, Brodie Daugherty at 215, & Jason Dougherty at 285! Eagles fought back at the lighterweights, but Central’s Cody Hess (160) & AJ Hondru (172) slammed the door for the Baron Win!
In a matchup of former Section 2 rivals, Warwick & Cocalico squared off in Week 1 of the 2022 High School Football Season!! Eagles came away with the win… 42-27! Warriors led it early 14-0, but Cocalico rallied in a big way & went on a 42-6 run to seal the win! Check out the highlights here…
Warwick started off their District 3 Playoffs with authority, downing Red Lion 16-1 in 4 innings! Warriors blew the game open in the 3rd inning with 7 runs! Kate Shaak got the Win, allowing just 4 hits & 1 run… striking out 3 batters!
