L-L League Football — Week 9 – Garden Spot vs. Manheim Central (10-18-24)

Garden Spot came away with a big Section 3 win over Manheim Central… 28-9! Gabe Martin & Andrew Pemberton accounted for all 4 of the Spartans TD’s! 2 rushing for Martin, 1 TD toss to Pemberton, who also ran the 2nd half kickoff back for a 92yd TD! Central scored both a TD & a safety on blocked punts!

▪️ Garden Spot improved to 4-4… Manheim Central fell to 3-6!

HS Wrestling: Section 2 – Elizabethtown vs. Cocalico (12-21-23)

EXCITING Section 2 Showdown on the mats between Elizabethtown & Cocalico! Eagles led most of the match, but needed late heroics to pick up their 1st win of the season 36-32 over the Bears!

-- Jr. Dane Bollinger with the Biggest Win (and 1st win) of his career, pinning his opponent at 172lbs in the 1st period (1:13) of the last bout of the night!

PIAA Girls Basketball State Playoffs (5A 2nd Round): Manheim Central vs West York (3-13-22)

Manheim Central’s History-Making run in the PIAA State Playoffs came to an end Sunday! Lady Barons fell 49-34 to West York in the 5A Girls 2nd Round! Lady Barons' Maddie Knier led ALL scorers with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough as 4 Bulldogs scored in double-figures! Manheim Central finished the season 20-8, with a Section 3 Co-Championship, a 4th place finish in District 3 & the First EVER State Playoff win in program history!
