L-L League Boys Soccer Playoffs: Finals – Hempfield vs. Warwick (10-16-24)

On the latest episode of Sportstalk... we continued to talk about the Winter Sports Season & check back in on our local boys basketball teams! In this conversation, we looked at the Warwick Warriors, who are chasing another Section 2 Title this season! District 3 Boys Volleyball THRILLER! #3 Central York & #2 Warwick slugged it out like a pair of state ranked squads should 💥🏐💥 BUT the Panthers narrowly advanced to the 3A Finals by a 3-2 nail biter over Warwick!

▪️Warriors lost to Cedar Crest in the 3rd place game on June 1... both teams moved onto States!

Back to back tough losses for Warwick, who fell 3-1 to Penn Manor! After tying the game in the 6th inning with a lead-off home run by Madison Minney... the Comets got 2 runs in the 7th inning & Warwick could not respond!

Ephrata took care of business against Garden Spot 69-39… winning their 5th straight! Lady Mounts are 3-0 in Section 2 play! Leah Caldwell scored a New Career High with 24 points in the Ephrata Win! Marie McCracken added 16 points & Alyssa Caldwell had 12! Laina Steiner led the Spartans with 10 points!
