Just 4 mins in, Black Knights’ Julian Reisig became the hero with the Golden Goal! Hempfield wins 🥇 by a score of 1-0… it’s their First League 🏆since 2010!

L-L Football: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (10-29-21)
Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Girls Volleyball: Garden Spot vs. Manheim Central (10-8-24)
ABSOLUTE THRILLER in girls volleyball! Garden Spot beat Manheim Central 3-2 in a hard-fought, back & forth, exciting matchup! Spartans won Games 2, 3 & 5 and the Lady Barons won Games 1 & 4! Summer Stern had 34 digs in the match for Garden Spot, Alayna Horst led the way with 14 kills!
-- Spartans win the Section 2 Title with an 11-1 record! Next up, the L-L League Playoffs. Section 2 Champ gets a bye into the Semis on Thursday, October 17!

Baseball: Conestoga Valley vs. Ephrata (4-5-23)
Ephrata remained unbeaten at home with a 10-0 Win in 5 innings against Conestoga Valley! Trent Wolf picked up another W on the mound & the bats got hot midway thru the game! Ryan Bromirski & Coy Schwanger had big nights for the Mounts, going a combined 5-6 with 3 RBI & 4 runs scored!

L-L Girls Soccer: Garden Spot vs. Cocalico (9-9-24)
Cocalico won their 4th game in a row after knocking off Garden Spot 4-0! Chloe Martin had a pair of goals (2’ & 12’) for the Lady Eagles, just missing out on a hat trick! Juliana Gervase & Emma Strunk each added goals! Cocalico is now 1-0-1 in Section 2 (their new home this year… they are defending Section 3 champs)
🔹Lady Eagles are unbeaten in their last 5 games, having tied Warwick 1-1 back on August 30!
