L-L League Baseball Playoffs: Quarterfinals – Donegal vs. Ephrata (5-11-23)

On our annual "Sportstalk L-L Football Coaches Show Extravaganza", we chatted with Manheim Central Football Head Coach Dave Hahn about his Baron team! Cocalico jumped out to an early 3-0 lead at halftime against Donegal! Lady Eagles went onto win this one 5-0, in the 1st EVER playoff meeting between these L-L League foes! Chloe Martin (Cocalico's leading scorer) netted 2 goals... while Kira Lehman, Brielle Martin & Liv Smith also added goals! Cocalico punched their ticket back to the District 3 Semifinals in back to back seasons (2024 & 2023... only time in program history that's happened)

▪️ 3A District 3 Girls Soccer Semifinals: #3 Cocalico hosts Section 2 RIVAL #10 Manheim Central - Monday, October 28 (Talon Field - 7pm) 

In Game #1 of the ⚽️ Backyard Brawl Doubleheader ⚽️ Cocalico earned bragging rights for the next 364 days as the Eagles knocked off Ephrata 3-0! Huge night for Cocalico’s leading scorer Luke Main… who set the Cocalico Boys Soccer single season scoring record with Goal #16 & #17! Congrats Luke ?? & Good Luck to the Eagles in the postseason!

Ephrata Lady Mounts grabbed bragging rights again in the “Backyard Brawl” after completing the comeback against Cocalico… 33-30! Ephrata was down 21-12 at half, but outscored Cocalico 21-9 in the 2nd half!

⇒ Addi Martin (Cocalico) led all scores with 15 points! (#12 leading scorer in L-L League)
