Cedar Crest won the 2024 L-L League Boys Championship, beating Warwick 66-47! Falcons' strong defense led them to victory & 4 players scored in double-figures, led by Fernando Marquez with a Game-High 18pts! It's Cedar Crest's 5th title. For Warwick, Caleb Johnsen led the way with 16pts & Ya'Majesty Washington added 12 pts!
Major STATEMENT WIN for Cedar Crest in the L-L Finals, who not only knocked off 2X Defending League Champ Manheim Central by a score of 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 16-25, 25-19), BUT handed the Barons their first loss of the year! It was a WILD, back & forth showdown between Section 1 foes Penn Manor and Warwick! The Comets jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the 1st inning, but the Warriors stormed back with 5 runs in the 4th inning... ONLY to see Penn Manor plate 4 runs in the Final 2 innings to win 7-5!
