🔹Conestoga Valley won the boys team title after they sent 6 wrestlers to the Finals, winning 5 🥇 Ephrata finished 4th, Manheim Central 6th, Cocalico 9th, Warwick 11th & Garden Spot 17th! On the girls side, JP McCaskey won the team title over Hempfield, with Warwick finishing 7th as our only local school with a girls team!
▪️Congrats to Northern Lebanon’s Aaron Seidel who joined the 4X League Champion Club winning at 133lbs!
Boys Basketball: Lancaster Catholic vs. Cocalico (12-19-22)
Cocalico picked up a big win in Section 3 play, beating Lancaster Catholic 58-48 in Overtime! Eagles held the Crusaders scoreless in the OT session! Cocalico picked up a hard-fought, nail-biting 6-4 Win over Section 2 foe Warwick! Eagles had 6 different players score in the game… Carson Maharg, Tucker Stoltzfus; Tate Renaud, Brady Gallagher, Sawyer Belknap & Jackson Dietrich! Warriors were led by Anthony Hummel with 2 goals, which gave him a team-leading 30 Goals on the season! Cocalico took the season series 2-0 vs. Warwick with a 19-6 Goal differential for the Eagles!
