L-L Boys Volleyball: Warwick vs. Hempfield (5-4-21)

Cocalico & Manheim Central got themselves into a “Hitters Duel” AND it was Highly Entertaining 🤩👏👏 Lady Eagles took the early 6-1 lead, but Central stormed back on an 11-1 spurt… eventually winning 17-10! Riley Hostetter got the Win & had 8 K’s for the Lady Barons, who made it 5 wins in a row!

WHAT A WILD WALKOFF WIN!

Trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the 9th... Lancaster "stormed-back" with 4 runs to walk it off against Staten Island... 7-6! The comeback seemed unlikely after the Stormers trailed 5-0 early & then 6-3 in the 9th... but Lancaster's next 6 batters reached based, including Joseph Carpenter's RBI fielder's choice that scored Shawon Dunston Jr. with the GAME-WINNING RUN!

Manheim Central gets the WIN & the Section 3 Title after knocking off rival Cocalico... 56-27! It’s the Lady Barons’ 1st Section Trophy since 2012 (they will share it with Lampeter-Strasburg this year) Maddie Knier led all scorers with 23pts, Abbie Reed had 13… Teagan Sahm led Cocalico with 16pts! Cocalico held on for another close win in Section 2 beating Garden Spot 63-60! Both teams made a mad dash for the finish line, combining for 44 points in the 4th quarter! By the way, Eagles are 2-0 in Section 2!
