Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Warwick Won 21-10 on Senior Night over West York! After leading 9-8 at halftime, the Warriors outscored the Bulldogs 12-2 in the 2nd half! It was an extra special night offensively for several Seniors... Grace Cianci-Krall (6 Goals), Jill Dougherty (6 Goals), Cam McClosky (2 Goals), Hannah Burkholder (2 Goals) & Grace Rothenberger (1 Goal)… who combined for 17 of Warwick’s 21 Goals! Freshman Elena Care scored the remaining 4 Goals!

?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! The Warriors punched their ticket to Hershey on Saturday, March 5... making the District 3 Title Game for the 1st time since 1984! Tate Landis & Trevor Evans had 16pts each for the Warriors!
