Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Plenty of drama from the “Backyard Brawl” in boys volleyball! Ephrata took a 2-0 lead, but Cocalico fought back to win Game 3 & almost forced a Game 5! Mounts Senior Jordan Buch was a FORCE, wracking up 31 kills to lead his team to victory! Check out the highlights...
#6 Manheim Central moved onto the next round of 5A District 3 Playoffs after a 32-25 win over #11 Cocalico! Lady Barons also qualified for the PIAA State Tournament in March! For Central, Gianna Walters had 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers… giving her a Single-Season High 51–3’s (101 Career)! Maddie Gehman added 11 points, 9 in the first half to get the Lady Barons going! Cocalico’s Kira Lehman dropped a Game-High 14 points, but the Lady Eagles season ended at 12-11!

In Game 2 of the L-L League 🏐 Semifinals, Cocalico made Warwick work for the victory… stealing Game 4 (30-28)! But the Warriors ultimately won 3-1 over the Eagles to punch their ticket back to the League Finals for the 4th straight year! Kyle Charles had 23 kills in the win!

#7 Warwick advanced to the next round of the 5A District 3 Softball Playoffs after a 13-3 Win in 5 innings over #10 Northern York! Warriors fell behind 3-0 early, but stormed back with 13 unanswered runs in the 3rd, 4th & 5th innings! Brooklyn Nolt, Mackenzie Ellis, Katie Heisey & Emerson Overly went a combined 7-11 at the top of the order with 9 RBI, 7 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 triple & 2 BB! Kate Shaak (5 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 5 K, 3 BB) got her 16th Win of the season for Warwick!
