Gutsy effort from Manheim Central Girls, who were missing 2 key starters against Lancaster Catholic… including the L-L’s leading scorer Maddie Knier! Crusaders got the win 42-32, but credit the Lady Barons, who pushed Catholic to the limit for 3 quarters! Here are the highlights...

Manheim Central spotted Cocalico a 2-0 lead after the 1st inning… Alex Fox & Dane Horning scored the Eagles runs! But the Barons rattled off 12 unanswered runs after that & won the game 12-2 in 6 innings! Central’s Cody Hess went 3-3 with 3 RBI & a run scored, Carter Kyle & Cam Thompson combined for 3 hits, 2 walks & 4 runs scored! Barons starter Colin Connelly (2-1) got the Win (5 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 7 K’s, 6 BB)
