Manheim Central and Cocalico wrestled a WHOPPER of a match as the Section 2 Title was on the line for the Barons! It was back & forth all night… but Central sent out their Hammer, Brett Barbush to seal it with a pin at 160lbs! Barons won 32-30 & moved to 6-0 in Section 2 with one match remaining against Donegal on January 25!
Warwick’s Offense & Defense worked extra hard in their 19-3 victory over Cedar Crest! It was the 1st win of the season for the Warriors, who handed the Falcons their first loss!
▪️ Quinn Care caught a TD pass from QB Thomas Myers, who also ran for a score! Warwick’s defense caused all sorts of turnovers, including several interceptions, a blocked punt, a safety & 3 fumbles recovered!
Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Warwick staked their claim as "Top Dog" in Section 2 with a 53-36 Win over Ephrata! Parker Horst (16pts) & Caleb McCamant (14pts) poured in Season Highs for the Warriors, who used a 16-7 advantage in the 3rd quarter to blow the game open! Marcus Hardin led Ephrata with 11 points!
