HS Wrestling: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (1-20-23)

On the latest episode of Sportstalk... we continued to talk about the Winter Sports Season & check back in on our local girls basketball teams! Highly competitive High School Boys Lacrosse game between Garden Spot & Ephrata! Spartans won a back & forth contest that saw the Mounts lead 3-1 after the 1st qt, then the Spartans grabbed a 7-4 halftime lead only to watch Ephrata close it to 8-7 after 3 quarters! Garden Spot held on for the 10-8 Win! Here are the highlights...

Cocalico Won the “Backyard Brawl” on the volleyball court, beating Ephrata 3-1 in Round #2 & 2-0 in the season series! Eagles Sr. Yohanis Hildebrand had 13 kills & 6 aces!

🔹Cocalico qualified for League Playoffs (2nd place in Section 2) & will face the Section 1 Champ on Monday, May 13!

Ephrata (10-1) clinched at least a share of the Section 2 title with a 30-17 win over Warwick! Lady Mounts can claim it outright with a win on Senior Night... Thursday, February 8 vs. Elizabethtown!

🔸Alyssa Caldwell (Fr.) had 9pts to lead Ephrata! Marie McCracken (So.) had 8pts & Leah Caldwell (So.) added 6pts!
