It was back & forth all night… but Central sent out their Hammer, Brett Barbush to seal it with a pin at 160lbs! Nate Savage (Sr.) drove in the Mounts only 2 runs in the 3rd inning with a double! Ephrata's Camryn Simes threw a complete game, 1-hit shutout (7 IP, 6 K, 1 BB) to earn his 10th Win of the season!
In a Section 1 clash between Hempfield & Warwick... the Warriors pushed across 9 runs in the 1st inning to grab control of the momentum! Marlee Martin slugged a 2 run home run & Katie Heisey had a 3 run triple to help balloon the lead! Warwick's Kenzie Ellis & Sydney Lee combined for 5 runs, 3 hits & 3 walks from the top 2 spots in the batting lineup! Kate Shaak got the Win (7 IP, 3 R, 6 K, 1 BB) as Warwick beat Hempfield 12-3!
