Girls Soccer: Hershey vs. Manheim Central (9-3-24)

Manheim Central’s History-Making run in the PIAA State Playoffs came to an end Sunday! Lady Barons fell 49-34 to West York in the 5A Girls 2nd Round! Lady Barons' Maddie Knier led ALL scorers with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough as 4 Bulldogs scored in double-figures! Manheim Central finished the season 20-8, with a Section 3 Co-Championship, a 4th place finish in District 3 & the First EVER State Playoff win in program history!

Warwick WINS… knocking off Rival Ephrata in the L-L League Girls Semifinals… 3-1! Olivia Shertzer scored a Goal & assisted twice ✌️ Warriors punched their ticket to Thursday’s Championship Game against Manheim Township! ⚽️? It’s Warwick’s 1st Title appearance since Spring of 2012! Their lone ? was in 1999 against Ephrata!

Manheim Central Softball SLUGGED their way to victory over Cocalico... 16-0 in 3 innings! Lady Barons had 3 Home Runs on the night… a pair of 2-Run HR’s for Kayleigh Detz & a 3-Run HR for Miranda Ober ??? ?Career Milestone? Gabby Wettig smacked her 100th hit as a Lady Baron!
