Girls Soccer: Hershey vs. Manheim Central (9-3-24)

L-L League Girls Volleyball hit the court this week on Blue Ridge 11 ? Conestoga Valley looked solid against Section 1 foe Warwick, who did put up a fight in Game 3, but ultimately CV got the sweep 3-0! Check out the highlights here & catch more Girls ? on the channel this Fall ?

Cocalico celebrates Senior Night in a big way by knocking off Warwick 27-21, moving to 4-0 in the Section 2 standings! The Eagles now earn at least a share of the Section 2 Title & face Manheim Central next week for a chance to win it outright! As for the game... it was another huge night on the gridiron for Anthony Bourassa, who smashed his previous career high, churning out 330+ yards on the ground & 2 TD's! Cocalico ended Ephrata's undefeated season with a 66-58 victory in the "Backyard Brawl"! Eagles Sophomore Camden Ochs had a monster night...23 points; Aaryn Longenecker chipped in 15! Four Mounts scored in double figures but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback... Cocalico grabbed the bragging rights for another year!

Cocalico Head Coach Bryan Strohl & several of his players sat down with us at this year's football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Last year, the Eagles made it back to back 5A District 3 Championships... BUT came up 2 yards short in the State Semifinals! Now they look to replace a ton of Senior leadership heading into the 2024 Season! Hear how Cocalico plans to do that with a different group of guys!
