Girls Soccer: Hershey vs. Manheim Central (9-3-24)

EPIC comeback for Manheim Central, who trailed Warwick by 15pts in the 2nd quarter & again by 14pts in the 3rd… BUT the Barons posted 45 points in the 2nd half to pull out the victory 69-65! Central’s Mason Rodgers led all scorers with 21 points (5-3pters), Ryan Kenneff has 16 points (10-11 FT)! Ya’Majesty Washington led the Warriors with 19 points (3-3pters), Caleb Johnsen added 16!

?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Cedar Crest punched their ticket to the L-L League Boys Title Game with a 40-37 win over Manheim Central! Barons' Aaron Enterline hit a game-tying 3pt attempt but it was after the buzzer! Central did hit 7 - 3pters in the game!
