Cocalico won its 4th straight game, taking down Section 2 foe Warwick… 38-31! Kira Lehman led all scorers with 17 points for the Lady Eagles! Brielle Martin chipped in a Career High 8 points to help Cocalico pad their lead! Warwick was led by Reese Jeanes, who had 9 points, all on 3-pointers!
In an L-L League Girls Lacrosse showdown between 2 cross-town rivals… Warwick jumped out to an early 6-2 lead over Ephrata, but had to hang on down the stretch to win 12-9! Warwick had Penn Manor on “upset alert” late in this ballgame… all tied 4-4 heading into the 7th inning! But the Comets pushed 3 runs across in the top of the 7th & slammed the door shut to win 7-4! Penn Manor won the season series 3-0 & kept their League Playoff hopes alive (but ultimately fell 1 win short to qualify)!
