Girl’s Basketball Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (1/8/21)

For the FIRST TIME EVER... Manheim Central Boys Basketball is headed to the L-L League Finals! The Barons took down Cedar Crest 49-46! Trey Grube (MC) led all scorers with 16 points; Aaron Enterline (MC) had 13 points & one Monster dunk!

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Ephrata (10-0) stayed UNBEATEN in Section 2 after a 49-32 Win over Warwick! Ephrata's Marie McCracken led all scorers with 17 points... Leah Caldwell chipped in 10 points! Kara Lipisko led Warwick in scoring with 10 points!

⇒ Lady Mounts clinched their 5th Section 2 Title in 6 years later in the week with a win over Solanco! They will host a quarterfinal game in the L-L League Playoffs on Saturday, February 8!

Back to back tough losses for Warwick, who fell 3-1 to Penn Manor! After tying the game in the 6th inning with a lead-off home run by Madison Minney... the Comets got 2 runs in the 7th inning & Warwick could not respond!
