Boys Soccer: Garden Spot vs. Manheim Central (9-19-22)

The Warwick Boys Basketball team is having an impressive District 3 Playoff experience this year! They've won three games in a row, making the District 3 Finals for the first time since 1984! For the 2nd year in a row… Garden Spot handed the Ephrata Mounts a tough loss… this time pulling out a close one 24-21! Spartans move to 3-0 in Section 3 play & 5-1 overall, boosting their already strong 5A District 3 ranking ?? Mounts dropped to 1-2 in Section 3... 3-3 overall!

Garden Spot’s Trey Dwyer put his goal scoring prowess on display against Manheim Central! Early in the 1st, Dwyer put the Spartans ahead 1-0 with a header off a corner kick & scored again just minutes into the 2nd half! He’s got 13 goals for the season! Central’s Aiden Beck slammed home a goal with 5 minutes left in the game, but the Barons ran out of time... falling 2-1 to Garden Spot!

Ephrata boys soccer opened their season playing a full 100 minutes to a 1-1 draw against Governor Mifflin! Mounts Michael Straubel scored in the 28th minute to give Ephrata the lead, but Mustangs clanged one home off the crossbar right before halftime! Both keepers closed it down after that! Senior Austin Fries was Fantastic in goal for the Mounts!
