#1 Manheim Central took care of business in the 2A Quarterfinals, advancing onto the next round with a 3-0 Win (25-11, 25-13, 25-13) over #8 Northern Lebanon! It was the 3rd time beating the Vikings this season, who are Section 2 foes of the Barons! Reagan Miller led Central with 11 kills, followed by Landon Mattiace with 9 & Blake Neiles with 6! 5A PIAA State Football Playoffs (Semis): Cocalico vs. Pine-Richland (12-2-22)
Cocalico's "Cinderella Story" in the HS Football postseason came to an end in the 5A PIAA State Semifinals with a 34-12 loss against District 7 Champ, Pine-Richland! The Eagles, who came in as the 5A District 3 Champs feel behind 21-0 at the half & could complete the 2nd half comeback! Cocalico ends their season 10-5 with the program's 4th District Title & 3rd appearance in the State Semifinals!

Lancaster Stormers walk it off against Southern Maryland!
Stormers Centerfielder Joe Stewart knocked home the ONLY run of the game in the bottom of the 7th as Lancaster took both games of the doubleheader from Southern Maryland! Noah Bremer pitched 5 innings for the Lancaster, giving up 2 hits, NO runs with 4 K's! Phil Diehl got the Win for the Stormers, who took the series from the Blue Crabs with one more to go on Thursday, August 8!
