Spartans won a back & forth contest that saw the Mounts lead 3-1 after the 1st qt, then the Spartans grabbed a 7-4 halftime lead only to watch Ephrata close it to 8-7 after 3 quarters! Manheim Central girls 🏀 kept pace in the Section 2 Title race with a win over Warwick… 33-24! Payton Snyder had a Career High 12 points for the Lady Barons, who ended the 2nd half on a 19-9 run! Central made it 4 Wins in a row & now sit 1 back of Ephrata for the section lead!

The "Backyard Brawl" was painted PINK for the Annual Dig Pink event that raises funds & awareness for Breast Cancer research, as Ephrata & Cocalico squared off in a Section 2 clash! Lady Mounts take the rivalry this year... sweeping the match 3-0 & sweeping the season series 2-0! Check out these highlights...

Ephrata won their FIRST State Playoff game in program History in a wild, come from behind victory over Peters Township… 9-7! Mounts trailed 4-2 Bottom of the 4th… then rattled off 7 straight runs in that inning... took a 9-4 lead & held on for the 9-7 WIN!

Mounts move onto the 5A State Quarterfinals vs. Donegal on Thursday, June 9! It'll be the 2nd time these teams face off in the past 2 weeks... Ephrata got the win 11-1 over Donegal in the District 3 Semifinals!
