Eagles jumped out to a 2-1 lead on their home court, but the Barons stormed back to win games 4 & 5, taking this Section 2 Showdown 3-2! Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
Warwick Warriors took over the top spot in Section 2 after beating RIVAL Ephrata 63-46! Strong performance from Caleb Johnsen, who erupted with a Game-High 19 points for the Warriors! Marcus Hardin had 13 points for the Mounts!
