Boys Basketball: Conestoga Valley vs. Cocalico (1-31-25)

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Warwick & Cocalico played to a 1-1 draw… AGAIN! Ella Shirk scored in the 4th minute, giving the Warriors a brief 1-0 lead! But Kira Lehman tied it up for Cocalico just minutes later on a header off a corner kick! Both teams spent the next 90 minutes, thru 2OT’s trying to net the game winner! ** (This is now twice this season these teams have played to a 1-1 tie)

▪️Warwick is 6-1-2 in Section 2 & has clinched a berth in the League Playoffs! They have one game left in League play against Solanco on Monday, October 7!

Manheim Central Boys started raining down 3’s in the 2nd half of Wednesday's game and went on quite the run... blowing out Northern Lebanon, 62-27! Central's Trey Grube had 23 points (3-3’s); Cam Eberly had 10! Barons held Peyton Wolfe (League's top 3pt shooter) to 5 points! Check out the highlights...

Warwick’s Offense & Defense worked extra hard in their 19-3 victory over Cedar Crest! It was the 1st win of the season for the Warriors, who handed the Falcons their first loss!

▪️ Quinn Care caught a TD pass from QB Thomas Myers, who also ran for a score! Warwick’s defense caused all sorts of turnovers, including several interceptions, a blocked punt, a safety & 3 fumbles recovered!
