Blue Ridge 11’s Weekly Wrap-Up (L-L Spring Playoffs Edition)

Warwick baseball wraps up a stellar regular season with a 16-2 overall record! This afternoon on Senior Day, the Warriors beat Manheim Township 5-3… sweeping the rival Blue Streaks & cruising thru Section 1 with a 9-1 record!

Thriller of a game between Elco & Manheim Central girls!?? Went down to the wire but Elco escapes Manheim with the 54-53 victory! Maddie Knier was spectacular with 28 points, but Elco had 3 players in double figures... Kailey Eckhart (16), Ashley Yoh & Amanda Smith (14)! Smith hit the game-winner with 10 seconds left! Once again the YEARLY “Grudge Match” between Cocalico & Manheim Central ? did NOT disappoint! Barons & Eagles traded points, turnovers & the lead throughout… but it was Manheim Central getting the Big Win…35-19! Barons move to 3-0 this season! Check out the highlights here...

Section 1 Co-Champ Warwick moved on in the L-L League Tournament after a 7-0 Win over Manheim Central in the Quarterfinal Round! Sr. Bella Smithson smacked a 2-Run HR in the 3rd inning! Warriors tacked on 3 runs late in the game! Pitcher Kate Shaak dominated in the circle… 7 IP, 9 K’s, 4 H, 0 runs!
