Blue Ridge 11’s Weekly Wrap-Up (L-L Spring Playoffs Edition)

Season-Saving COMEBACK for Warwick in the 5A District 3 Playoffs! #9 Warwick trailed #8 Red Land 36-18 in the 3rd quarter… BUT went on a game-closing 42-20 run, winning it 60-56 in OT! Warwick advanced to the 5A Quarterfinals on Thursday, February 22 against #1 Hershey & qualified for STATES!

▪️Warwick scorers: Carter Horst led the Warriors with 17pts… Tyree Hughes (12) & Trevor Evans (10) also in double figures!

▪️Red Land scorers: Anderson French had a Game-High 27pts (17 in the 1st half)... Elijah Espinosa had 14pts, Colton Rose 12!

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Manheim Central’s fantastic season (22-7) came to an end in the 1st round of the 5A State Playoffs! Mars knocked the Barons out of States with a 61-49 victory! Trey Grube led Manheim Central with 18 points... Aaron Enterline had 14!
