Blue Ridge 11’s Weekly Wrap-Up (L-L Spring Playoffs Edition)

Manheim Central’s History-Making run in the PIAA State Playoffs came to an end Sunday! Lady Barons fell 49-34 to West York in the 5A Girls 2nd Round! Lady Barons' Maddie Knier led ALL scorers with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough as 4 Bulldogs scored in double-figures! Manheim Central finished the season 20-8, with a Section 3 Co-Championship, a 4th place finish in District 3 & the First EVER State Playoff win in program history!

It's a special year for L-L Football as all 13 Berks County teams are merging into the League! On the latest episode of Sportstalk, we broke down who's in all the new Sections & talked about title contenders! Check out our discussion on Section 1 & see if anyone can knock off powerhouse Wilson from the top of the mountain!

Manheim Central stared down another challenger for the Section 2 crown & came away with the 63-51 WIN! Sam Witmer led the Barons with 16 points; Jackson Tracy added 12! Central moves to 9-1 in Section play & stayed ahead of the pack!
