Blue Ridge 11’s Weekly Wrap-Up (2-15-21)

Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Both teams have now won on their home courts... if they win out, Warwick & Hempfield will share the title! Will we see a Round #3? Cocalico wins Round 1 of the "Backyard Brawl" beating Ephrata 4-0! Timmy Hambright got the scoring started in the 10th minute off a Cade Upson assist! Then Jordan Wambolt & David Pierdomenico made it 3-0 at halftime! Hambright added a 2nd goal 2 minutes after the break! Eagles win & will face Ephrata again on October 1 in a crucial Section 2 late season showdown!

BIG win for Warwick boys basketball!? Warriors shoot the lights out against rival Hempfield & get the win convincingly... 66-45! Kai Cipalla had 28 points (4-3’s), Tate Landis had 18 (3-3’s)! Warwick improves to 11-2 this season! Check out all the highlights!

Section 1 Co-Champ Warwick moved on in the L-L League Tournament after a 7-0 Win over Manheim Central in the Quarterfinal Round! Sr. Bella Smithson smacked a 2-Run HR in the 3rd inning! Warriors tacked on 3 runs late in the game! Pitcher Kate Shaak dominated in the circle… 7 IP, 9 K’s, 4 H, 0 runs!
