Blue Ridge 11’s Weekly Wrap-Up (2-15-21)

For the first time since 2006, the Cocalico Girls Basketball team are Section 3 Champs! They knocked off Garden Spot 35-23 to clinch the title! Check out the sights, sounds and festivities from the celebration in Eagle Country!

It was National Signing Day & Cocalico High School got in on the fun by honoring more than a dozen athletes! Here’s our recap from the day’s festivities...

Manheim Central looked every bit a Top 3 AA team in the state of PA against Cocalico! Barons won 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-17)... handing the Eagles their only 2 losses in Section 2 play this year! Central also has yet to drop a game in a match this season (30-0 vs. opponents)! Barons improved to 8-0!

The 4A District 3 Boys Soccer Semifinal came down to a penalty kick in Overtime! Hempfield capitalized, knocking off L-L League & Section 1 RIVAL Warwick 1-0 in a very competitive game! Black Knights punched their ticket to the 4A Finals… Warwick now tries to regroup & get ready for the State Tournament next Tuesday!
