Thriller of a game between Elco & Manheim Central girls!?? Went down to the wire but Elco escapes Manheim with the 54-53 victory! Maddie Knier was spectacular with 28 points, but Elco had 3 players in double figures... Kailey Eckhart (16), Ashley Yoh & Amanda Smith (14)! Smith hit the game-winner with 10 seconds left! Ephrata boys soccer opened their season playing a full 100 minutes to a 1-1 draw against Governor Mifflin! Mounts Michael Straubel scored in the 28th minute to give Ephrata the lead, but Mustangs clanged one home off the crossbar right before halftime! Both keepers closed it down after that! Senior Austin Fries was Fantastic in goal for the Mounts!
