Blue Ridge 11’s Weekly Wrap-Up (10-11-21)

After a scoreless 1st half between Warwick & Conestoga Valley... the Warriors broke thru with a pair of 2nd half Goals from Connor Kirchner & Caden Lausch! Warwick won 2-0 over Conestoga Valley…it was both teams last Section 1 game... neither is headed to the League Playoffs! So they now wait for the 4A District 3 Playoffs, where both teams will have road games on Tuesday, October 25!

What a clash between fantastic 5A Girls Basketball squads! Cocalico & Gettysburg left it all out on the court! We saw 3’s...stellar defense & even a career milestone! In the end, Gettysburg advanced 44-39! Cocalico Senior Izzy Mack led the team 12 points (4-3’s)! Senior Hannah Custer had 8! A great season for Cocalico ends at 16-4, with a Section 3 Title! Lancaster Mennonite & Cocalico clashed in a typical, aggressive boys soccer battle between these Section 3 foes! Eagles defense held as long as they could but the Blazers squeaked by with a 1-0 victory… winning the Section 3 Title outright! Here are the highlights!

Manheim Central Boys Volleyball showed they haven’t missed a beat after a year’s layoff, winning their 38th consecutive League match! Barons knocked off L-L League rival Cocalico 3-0; Central's Blake Wagner had 16 kills! Check out all the action from the court!
