What a clash between fantastic 5A Girls Basketball squads! Cocalico & Gettysburg left it all out on the court! We saw 3’s...stellar defense & even a career milestone! In the end, Gettysburg advanced 44-39! Cocalico Senior Izzy Mack led the team 12 points (4-3’s)! Senior Hannah Custer had 8! A great season for Cocalico ends at 16-4, with a Section 3 Title! Ephrata boys soccer opened their season playing a full 100 minutes to a 1-1 draw against Governor Mifflin! Mounts Michael Straubel scored in the 28th minute to give Ephrata the lead, but Mustangs clanged one home off the crossbar right before halftime! Both keepers closed it down after that! Senior Austin Fries was Fantastic in goal for the Mounts!

Ephrata Softball gets the WIN in this year’s “Backyard Brawl”... 10-7 over the Lady Eagles! Ephrata Pitcher Ellie Meier struck out 10 in the victory! Lady Mounts have 1 final game against Hershey & then await their District 3 Playoff future!

Manheim Central and Cocalico wrestled a WHOPPER of a match as the Section 2 Title was on the line for the Barons! It was back & forth all night... but Central sent out their Hammer, Brett Barbush to seal it with a pin at 160lbs! Barons won 32-30 & moved to 6-0 in Section 2 with one match remaining against Donegal on January 25!
