Lancaster ended June on a winning note… beating Long Island 14-4! Stormers scored 4 runs in the 1st & padded their lead with 7 runs in the 7th inning! Ephrata survived and advanced onto the next round of the 6A District 3 ⚾️ Tournament after a 2-0 Win over Muhlenberg! Nate Savage (Sr.) drove in the Mounts only 2 runs in the 3rd inning with a double! Ephrata's Camryn Simes threw a complete game, 1-hit shutout (7 IP, 6 K, 1 BB) to earn his 10th Win of the season!
Ephrata collected another rivalry win to start the season 2-0! Mounts took down Warwick 10-4 & beat Cocalico 4-0 on Friday, March 24! The top 4 hitters for the Mounts went 5-9 with 6 walks & 9 runs scored, including Coy Schwanger’s surprise steal of home!
Northern Lebanon picked up a 13-2 win over Cocalico in non-league action! Vikings Senior pitcher Brian Bicksler (2-1) was strong on the mound (5.1 IP, 3H, 2 R, 7 K) in the Win! Northern Lebanon's 2-3-4 hitters (Adrian Gonzalez, Connor Stoltz, Riley Messinger) were a combined 7-9 at the plate with 6 RBI, 7 runs scored, 2 doubles & 2 walks! Cocalico pushed across to runs late in the 6th inning, but could not hold off the Vikings offensive attack!
Northern Lebanon improved to 4-1, while Cocalico dropped to 1-4!
Manheim Central spotted Cocalico a 2-0 lead after the 1st inning… Alex Fox & Dane Horning scored the Eagles runs! But the Barons rattled off 12 unanswered runs after that & won the game 12-2 in 6 innings! Central’s Cody Hess went 3-3 with 3 RBI & a run scored, Carter Kyle & Cam Thompson combined for 3 hits, 2 walks & 4 runs scored! Barons starter Colin Connelly (2-1) got the Win (5 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 7 K’s, 6 BB)
