Manheim Central and Cocalico wrestled a WHOPPER of a match as the Section 2 Title was on the line for the Barons! It was back & forth all night... but Central sent out their Hammer, Brett Barbush to seal it with a pin at 160lbs! Barons won 32-30 & moved to 6-0 in Section 2 with one match remaining against Donegal on January 25!
In a match-up of the #1 & #2 teams in L-L Girl's Lacrosse... the Blue Streaks out-dueled the Lady Eagles in a highly competitive, fast-paced game... 15-8! Elco earned the 3-0 shutout against Manheim Central in early, non-league action! Jevan Marquette (13’), Cru Frederick (23’) & Ben Macchione (55’) scored for the Raiders! Central Goalie Zach Spangler made a nice PK save in the opening minutes of the game, the Elco Offense was too much! Barons drop Game 1 of the season, while Elco moves to 2-0 with a 4-0 margin of victory!
