Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Ephrata survived and advanced onto the next round of the 6A District 3 ⚾️ Tournament after a 2-0 Win over Muhlenberg! Nate Savage (Sr.) drove in the Mounts only 2 runs in the 3rd inning with a double! Ephrata's Camryn Simes threw a complete game, 1-hit shutout (7 IP, 6 K, 1 BB) to earn his 10th Win of the season!
Penn Manor jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but Ephrata made it a 3-2 ballgame in the 4th! That's when the Comets hung 5 runs on the board in the top of the 6th and cruised to an 8-2 victory! Ephrata and Penn Manor are both battling for the #2 spot in Section 1 play along with Manheim Township, who are all chasing Hempfield!
