It's a special year for L-L Football as all 13 Berks County teams are merging into the League! On the latest episode of Sportstalk, we broke down who's in all the new Sections & talked about title contenders! Check out our discussion on Section 5 & see who could ascend to the top of the heap!

Ephrata (10-0) stayed UNBEATEN in Section 2 after a 49-32 Win over Warwick! Ephrata's Marie McCracken led all scorers with 17 points... Leah Caldwell chipped in 10 points! Kara Lipisko led Warwick in scoring with 10 points!

⇒ Lady Mounts clinched their 5th Section 2 Title in 6 years later in the week with a win over Solanco! They will host a quarterfinal game in the L-L League Playoffs on Saturday, February 8!

#6 Manheim Central moved onto the next round of 5A District 3 Playoffs after a 32-25 win over #11 Cocalico! Lady Barons also qualified for the PIAA State Tournament in March! For Central, Gianna Walters had 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers… giving her a Single-Season High 51–3’s (101 Career)! Maddie Gehman added 11 points, 9 in the first half to get the Lady Barons going! Cocalico’s Kira Lehman dropped a Game-High 14 points, but the Lady Eagles season ended at 12-11!
