Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! 5A District 3 Football Playoffs (Finals): Cocalico vs. Exeter (11-25-22)
The Cocalico Eagles made history in their 5A District 3 Championship Game, becoming the ONLY #12 seed to EVER WIN a title in District 3 (no matter the classification)... beating #2 Exeter 34-14! It's Cocalico's 4th title in program history, 1st for head coach Bryan Strohl! Eagles last won the 5A Title in 2019!
They now move onto the 5A State Semifinals against Pine-Richland on Friday, December 2! The game will air LIVE on Blue Ridge 11 TV from Mansion Park in Altoona at 7pm!

5A District 3 Boys Basketball Playoffs – 1st Round: #9 Warwick vs. #8 Red Land (2-19-24)
Season-Saving COMEBACK for Warwick in the 5A District 3 Playoffs! #9 Warwick trailed #8 Red Land 36-18 in the 3rd quarter… BUT went on a game-closing 42-20 run, winning it 60-56 in OT! Warwick advanced to the 5A Quarterfinals on Thursday, February 22 against #1 Hershey & qualified for STATES!
▪️Warwick scorers: Carter Horst led the Warriors with 17pts… Tyree Hughes (12) & Trevor Evans (10) also in double figures!
▪️Red Land scorers: Anderson French had a Game-High 27pts (17 in the 1st half)... Elijah Espinosa had 14pts, Colton Rose 12!

Lower Dauphin denies Cocalico their 1st District 3 Title since 1977 with a last second 24-22 win! Credit both squads on a hard-fought game! Great season for Cocalico, who finishes 16-5 with a Section 3 Title!
