Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! Lower Dauphin denies Cocalico their 1st District 3 Title since 1977 with a last second 24-22 win! Credit both squads on a hard-fought game! Great season for Cocalico, who finishes 16-5 with a Section 3 Title!
Baseball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (4-7-25)
Manheim Central spotted Cocalico a 2-0 lead after the 1st inning… Alex Fox & Dane Horning scored the Eagles runs! But the Barons rattled off 12 unanswered runs after that & won the game 12-2 in 6 innings! Central’s Cody Hess went 3-3 with 3 RBI & a run scored, Carter Kyle & Cam Thompson combined for 3 hits, 2 walks & 4 runs scored! Barons starter Colin Connelly (2-1) got the Win (5 IP, 2 R, 3 H, 7 K’s, 6 BB)

Ephrata survived and advanced onto the next round of the 6A District 3 ⚾️ Tournament after a 2-0 Win over Muhlenberg! Nate Savage (Sr.) drove in the Mounts only 2 runs in the 3rd inning with a double! Ephrata's Camryn Simes threw a complete game, 1-hit shutout (7 IP, 6 K, 1 BB) to earn his 10th Win of the season!
