Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! Manheim Central’s History-Making run in the PIAA State Playoffs came to an end Sunday! Lady Barons fell 49-34 to West York in the 5A Girls 2nd Round! Lady Barons' Maddie Knier led ALL scorers with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough as 4 Bulldogs scored in double-figures! Manheim Central finished the season 20-8, with a Section 3 Co-Championship, a 4th place finish in District 3 & the First EVER State Playoff win in program history!
2023 L-L League Boys Basketball Playoffs – Semifinals: Warwick vs. Hempfield (2-15-23)
Hempfield denied Warwick a trip to the L-L League Finals with a 49-43 win! Black Knights outscored the Warriors 13-6 in the 4th quarter to get the W! Hempfield is into the L-L Championship for the 3rd year in a row, where they will face Section 2 Champ, Manheim Central, on Friday at 7pm!
-- Warwick's next game is Monday, February 20 in the District 3 Playoffs... they will host Donegal at 7pm!
District 3 Volleyball Playoffs: 2A Quarterfinals – #8 Northern Lebanon vs. #1 Manheim Central (5-22-25)
#1 Manheim Central took care of business in the 2A Quarterfinals, advancing onto the next round with a 3-0 Win (25-11, 25-13, 25-13) over #8 Northern Lebanon! It was the 3rd time beating the Vikings this season, who are Section 2 foes of the Barons! Reagan Miller led Central with 11 kills, followed by Landon Mattiace with 9 & Blake Neiles with 6! Dylan Musser had 28 assists in the match!
