Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! Cocalico stayed UNBEATEN this season after a comeback 6-5 Win over Warwick! Warriors led 3-2 at the half & 5-3 after the 3rd quarter, but Melia Van Zant scored 3 unanswered Goals in the 4th quarter to help the Lady Eagles pull off the Win! Cocalico is now 5-0 overall, 3-0 in Section 2!

5A District 3 Boys Basketball Playoffs (Consolation Game): Muhlenberg vs. Warwick (2-27-23)
#5 Warwick lost to #9 Muhlenberg 67-45 in the consolation round of the 5A District 3 Boys bracket! Muhls had 3 players in double figures, while Warwick had Caleb Johnsen with 15pts!
Warriors played #2 Lampeter-Strasburg Wednesday, March 1st for 7th place in 5A District 3 & seeding into States!
Atlantic League Baseball: Southern Maryland vs. Lancaster (8-8-24)
Lancaster won a rain-soaked game against Southern Maryland 10-3 to complete the 3-game sweep of the Blue Crabs! Stormers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 3rd inning & kept scoring every inning for the next 5 innings! Shawon Dunston & Trace Loehr each homered, while Damon Dues knocked home 3 more runs! Brady Tedesco threw 7.1 strong innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits, striking out 9 batters!
-- Lancaster is on the road to visit the Lexington Legends for a weekend series, before returning home next week to face Hagerstown for the FINAL series to air on Blue Ridge 11 TV this Summer!
