#1 Manheim Central had to literally survive & advance today beating #16 Mechanicsburg 4-3! Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! Central’s starting Pitcher Colton Book got the Win… went 6 IP, 7 K, 2 R! Wyatt Becker got the save! Check out the highlights here…

L-L Wrestling: Cocalico vs. Warwick (1-19-22)
?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Boys Soccer: Garden Spot vs. Manheim Central (9-19-24)
Garden Spot’s Trey Dwyer put his goal scoring prowess on display against Manheim Central! Early in the 1st, Dwyer put the Spartans ahead 1-0 with a header off a corner kick & scored again just minutes into the 2nd half! He’s got 13 goals for the season! Central’s Aiden Beck slammed home a goal with 5 minutes left in the game, but the Barons ran out of time... falling 2-1 to Garden Spot!

Girls Basketball: Cocalico vs. Warwick (12/20/24)
In their FIRST home game of the season, Warwick earned their FIRST Win of the season… 33-31 over Cocalico! Mia Warfel led the Warriors in scoring with 13 points, including the go-ahead bucket with 13 seconds left in the game! Kira Lehman led all scorers with 16 points (10 in the 4th; 6-8 FT in 4th)… Corinne Fair had 9 points (3-3’s) for Cocalico!

Boys Soccer: Ephrata vs. Cocalico (9-17-24)
Cocalico wins Round 1 of the "Backyard Brawl" beating Ephrata 4-0! Timmy Hambright got the scoring started in the 10th minute off a Cade Upson assist! Then Jordan Wambolt & David Pierdomenico made it 3-0 at halftime! Hambright added a 2nd goal 2 minutes after the break! Eagles win & will face Ephrata again on October 1 in a crucial Section 2 late season showdown!
