4A District 3 Boys Soccer Playoffs: Semifinals – #11 Mechanicsburg vs. #2 Warwick (10-29-24)

In their 4th straight trip to the 4A Semifinals, #2 Warwick FINALLY made it thru to the District 3 Championship Game with a 3-0 Win over #11 Mechanicsburg! Eli Yerger scored 2 Goals for the Warriors… 37th minute & 77th minute! Gavin Kochel scored his first varsity goal in the 63rd minute! Warwick advanced to their first District 3 Final since 2005 (when they tied Manheim Township 3–3 & shared the ⚽️🏆)

Boys Volleyball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (4-23-24)

Manheim Central looked every bit a Top 3 AA team in the state of PA against Cocalico! Barons won 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-17)... handing the Eagles their only 2 losses in Section 2 play this year! Central also has yet to drop a game in a match this season (30-0 vs. opponents)! Barons improved to 8-0!

Atlantic League Baseball: Staten Island vs. Lancaster (6-26-24)

WHAT A WILD WALKOFF WIN!

Trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the 9th... Lancaster "stormed-back" with 4 runs to walk it off against Staten Island... 7-6! The comeback seemed unlikely after the Stormers trailed 5-0 early & then 6-3 in the 9th... but Lancaster's next 6 batters reached based, including Joseph Carpenter's RBI fielder's choice that scored Shawon Dunston Jr. with the GAME-WINNING RUN!
