2024 L-L League Football Media Day — Manheim Central Barons (8-2-24)

Manheim Central Head Coach Dave Hahn & several of his players sat down with us at this year’s football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Barons are looking to replace a bunch of skill positions, including quarterback… BUT feel they’ve put in the work this offseason to be ready to go heading into the 2024 Season! Hear what Manheim Central plans to focus on with a different group of guys!

It's a Senior Night victory for Ephrata, who beat Conestoga Valley 16-5! Lady Mounts woke the bats up in the 2nd inning, scoring 7 runs and NEVER looked back! HS Wrestling: Manheim Central vs. Warwick (2-7-24)

Manheim Central wrapped up their season with a Big Win over Warwick… 42-21! Barons got their scoring started at 189lbs by Brodie Daugherty (Jr.) with a 13-1 Major Decision; followed by Noah Templin (So.) at 215lbs via Pin! Barrett Keiffer (So.) added an 11-3 Major Decision Win later in the match!
 
-- AAA Sectionals start Saturday, February 17! Both Warwick and Manheim Central will wrestle in Sectional #2 at Hempfield High School!

Girls Lacrosse: Conestoga Valley vs. Ephrata (4-15-25)

Ephrata powered thru brutal, windy conditions to get the offense going as the Lady Mounts picked up their first win in Section 1 play... beating Conestoga Valley 13-2! Ryleigh Warner had 6 goals on the night for the Lady Mounts, while Lyla Clement ended with 4, Kiera Wene had 2! Both players are over 30 goals apiece for Ephrata this season (Warner: 34 Goals -- Clement: 32 Goals)!

Baseball: Penn Manor vs. Warwick (5-3-24)

Warwick had Penn Manor on “upset alert” late in this ballgame… all tied 4-4 heading into the 7th inning! But the Comets pushed 3 runs across in the top of the 7th & slammed the door shut to win 7-4! Penn Manor won the season series 3-0 & kept their League Playoff hopes alive (but ultimately fell 1 win short to qualify)!
